Case Study Client Profile – The Campainge’s

Welcome to our client profiles page. Like many people do, meet Ron and Lisa Campainge who were browsing the Private Real Estate website. Stumbling upon a listing on Ronnie Crescent in Niagara Falls, Lisa was quick to react. Lisa called the homeowner of Ronnie Crescent and set up an appointment to see the property right away. Not being prepared to “down size” at this point and time, Lisa could not let this pass. “I knew as soon as I saw the property on the website that it would be perfect for our family” Lisa proclaimed.

After viewing the property on Ronnie Crescent in person, Ron and Lisa made the homeowner an offer online. The Private Real Estate website now has an offer button on each listing where you can submit an offer with your anticipated closing date. This is great for those who are not comfortable negotiating verbally. A couple hours later the homeowner of Ronnie Crescent received the email offer and contacted Rob and Lisa. Negotiating the final price verbally, within a couple more hours, the Campaigne’s were confirmed the property was theirs. With the decision they made in purchasing their new home, they had one thing left to do… Sell their home in a timely manner to ensure they would not have to hold two mortgages. “Purchasing our new home listed with Private Real Estate could not have been easier. The photos on their website were one of the most convincing parts of the process, let alone we would not have to pay any commission to a real estate agent, which really no one can afford” Lisa told us.

Within 24 hours, the Campaigne’s called Private Real Estate to set up an appointment to list their home. “Your representative was here at our home the very next day to review all of the information with us, take pictures and install our signs. We could not believe how quick and efficient Private Real Estate was.”

The Campaigne’s listed their property on Wednesday May 8 and were officially on the website with all of their photos and information Thursday May 9. On Friday May 10, the house was shown to someone that was driving in their area and saw a private sale directional sign. “It is of utmost importance to welcome people into your home to take a look, even if their not looking to buy, they may know someone who is” Ron commented. The response of that person was quite promising, however the Campaigne’s did not get their hopes up so early in the stages of selling. Saturday morning they found themselves showing their home to two other couples, and on Sunday May 11 they were SOLD! Ultimately the purchaser found the property on the Private Real Estate website and viewed the property in person on the Saturday. In the end they had competing offers with a previous viewer to purchase this lovely home. “The paperwork supplied in the package was very easy, however our purchaser brought a witness to sign the Official Agreement of Purchase and Sale form to ensure the property would be theirs, seeing as we had a bidding war on our hands” Ron and Lisa exclaimed.

“We purchased our new home within two days, then listed and SOLD our home privately with Private Real Estate in less than 4 days. We didn’t even have time to run an open house!” Lisa stunningly replied. The Campaigne’s listed their property at $329,000 and SOLD at $330,000 saving over $19,000 in commission money that they put towards their new home and purchase new furnishings.
